A Singles 2 player under Windows Vista found a way to make it work after having a few "back to desktop" problems.
"Since, Windows Vista comes with Direct X 10 by default. And Singles 2 is running with DirectX 9.0c. Therefore updating will not work as the file is not included in DirectX 10, thus the reason why I simply downloaded the d3dx9_24.dll file from the Net using Google and copy it to my Singles 2 root folder. And voilà... no more "back to desktop."

Un joueur de Singles 2 sous Vista a trouvé un moyen de faire fonctionner le jeu suite à de multiples retours "sur le bureau".
Puisque le nouveau Windows Vista vient avec DirectX 10 par défaut et que Singles 2 demande lui DirectX 9.0c. Ce joueur a téléchargé le fichier d3dx9_24.dll à partir d'Internet après une recherche Google et a copié ce dernier dans son répertoire racine de Singles 2.
Maintenant les "retours sur le bureau" ont cessé et le jeu fonctionne sous Windows Visa sans aucun problème.
