Chers amis je vous confirme que le "truc" de Aon7 fonctionne avec la version CD-ROM également... fini le patch 1.3 !
J'ai par contre, du faire 2 petites manipulations de plus pour y arriver (voir en gras, pourrait être facultatif pour vous, mais était nécessaire pour moi)...
Je vous explique comment j'ai fait :
1. Téléchargement du pilote 91.31 ici en vérifiant dans la liste si ma carte était bien compatible avec ce pilote. J'ai une GeForce FX 5700LE-256MB.
2. Désinstallation du pilote présent (84.21) (en passant par panneau de configuration/systeme/carte graphique/etc.)
3. Installation du nouveau pilote (par double clic sur le fichier télécharger) 
4. Vérification par un clic droit sur le bureau (propriétés/paramètre) Je n'ai que le 16 bits de disponible !!! Retour au panneau de configuration/Nvidia control pannel/Affichage/Changer les attibuts de résolution/Qualité des couleurs/Glisser la flèche jusqu'à Plus (32 bits) Accepter le changement.
5. Ayant le patch 1.3 d'installer... J'ai du faire une désinstalltion complète du jeu et un "nettoyage du registre" avant de réinstaller le jeu.
6. Donc jeu en version 1.0... Ouverture du jeu... Message d'erreur +++C Runtime... Après le 2e logo!!! Je vais donc dans mon répertoire Singles2/video et supprime le video Splash. Ré ouverture du jeu... Ça fonctionne. Aucun problème de texture. 
7. J'ajoute le patch 1.1 Tout est OK 
8. Super... Je passe au 1.2 
9. J'essaie même le CharChanger 2 
Tout est 10/10 et ce sans le patch 1.3.
Nvidia a donc dans ce nouveau pilote corriger l'erreur précédente.
Le patch 1.3 est donc pour moi INUTILE maintenant.
But, I had 2 minor "bugs" to succeed, see the bold informations. Maybe you wont have those bugs... but I did and correct them...
This is how I did it :
1. I downloaded the 91.31 driver here after verifying on the list if my card was compatible with this new driver. See my first message for the list.
2. I un install my old driver (84.21)
3. I install the new one (by double click on the download file)
4. I verify by a right click on my desktop (properties/parameter) to see if everything was OK. I had only 16 bits available !!! I open the configuration panel of WinXP and open Nvidia control panel/Change resolution attributes/color qualities/ and slide the arrow to the right to have 32 bits.
5. Since I had the 1.3 patch installed... I had to un install completely the game and made a registry clean before re installing my game from the CD-ROM.
6. I have now the game in 1.0... Opening of the game ... Grrr Error Message +++C Runtime... Right after the second logo!!! So I open my Single2 root repertory, open video and deleted the "Splash" video. Re opening of the game... It's working... I'm in, with no texture problem.
7. Installation of patch 1.1 Everything if fine !
8. Super... I try the 1.2... Yessssss I'm in business
9. Try the CharChanger 2 ... I can see my 2 news ladies
Everything is 10/10 and WITHOUT patch 1.3.
The 1.3 patch is now USELESS for me now.
