For those of you which bought the CD version of the game "Singles Flirt up your life" or "Singles 2 Triple trouble". And which have problems when they install, because you are asked for the CD "key"... That you do not have !!! Because certain editions of those games wich are distributed at a rebate price by "Exclusive Collection" and/or other distributors, do not have the CD key and/or do not have the manual included.
When this question pop up, click on "information", your "key" is there.
Not to forget that this is YOUR "key", that YOU made the effort get the original game and that YOU paid for this game. So, keep it to YOURSELF !

A Singles 2 player under Windows Vista found a way to make it work after having a few "back to desktop" problems.
"Since, Windows Vista comes with Direct X 10 by default. And Singles 2 is running with DirectX 9.0c. Therefore updating will not work as the file is not included in DirectX 10, thus the reason why I simply downloaded the d3dx9_24.dll file from the Net using Google and copy it to my Singles 2 root folder. And voilà... no more "back to desktop."

Some Singles 2 games doesn't seems to work well with .sx2 file in the "Extentions" sub folder. Others seems to accept only .zip files (yes, Singles 2 works with .zip files). If you're having problems seeing the add-ons you put in the "extensions" folder, maybe this is your solutions.
I'm using Winrar here but I imagine that Winzip should work the same. I'm using the "Shirtsammlung" add-on for that example.
Create a temporary folder on your desktop and name it "1"
Extract your zip file (the one with your .sx2 file inside) on your desktop.
Right-click on the .sx2 file and choose "Open with..."
Choose Winrar (Winzip)
Extract it in your "1" folder on your desktop
Verify if it's all there : a few folders plus a info2.txt file
Open the folder and select all files
Right-click on "Add to archive..."
Next...
Rename the file with the good name (Shirtsammlung).
Click OK, a .zip file will be creat.
Cut / Paste this .zip file into your "extensions" sub folder.
Close everything, open the game and try it Also read : Converting a .zip file in to a .sx2 file
