But, I had 2 minor "bugs" to succeed, see the bold informations. Maybe you wont have those bugs... but I did and correct them...
This is how I did it :
1. I downloaded the 91.31 driver here after verifying on the list if my card was compatible with this new driver. See my first message for the list.

2. I un install my old driver (84.21)
3. I install the new one (by double click on the download file)
4. I verify by a right click on my desktop (properties/parameter) to see if everything was OK. I had only 16 bits available !!! I open the configuration panel of WinXP and open Nvidia control panel/Change resolution attributes/color qualities/ and slide the arrow to the right to have 32 bits.
5. Since I had the 1.3 patch installed... I had to un install completely the game and made a registry clean before re installing my game from the CD-ROM.
6. I have now the game in 1.0... Opening of the game ... Grrr Error Message +++C Runtime... Right after the second logo!!! So I open my Single2 root repertory, open video and deleted the "Splash" video. Re opening of the game... It's working... I'm in, with no texture problem.

7. Installation of patch 1.1 Everything if fine !

8. Super... I try the 1.2... Yessssss I'm in business

9. Try the CharChanger 2 ... I can see my 2 news ladies

Everything is 10/10 and WITHOUT patch 1.3.
The 1.3 patch is now USELESS for me now.
This is a "tip" from a French player...
He's having the "Singles 2" game in version 1.0 by "on line shopping" ; But couldn't play because of the texture problem (eyes & teeth).
His graphic card is a : NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GT - 256MB ; But the patch 1.3 wasn't a solution for him !!!? I don't know why ?
But now he is playing with no more texture problem and without the 1.3 patch. :

p.s.:I did not try this driver on my "retail" version of the game with my GeForce FX 5700LE - 256MB yet, but as soon as I do, I will tell you.
If you do try it and if you succeed, please tell us... That will help others.
By adding a commentary to this article and give us the detail on your game version (retail or on line) and details on your graphic card. Thanks !
Don't forget to uninstall your old driver before adding the new one. And since this tip is working without the 1.3 patch... an uninstall of it (and maybe the full game) will be needed also !
Thanks Aon7 for your tip.

In her commentary, Jojo, gave us a tip on how to inflate your Singles banking account. This is for players who are not already using another tip to have more money. This is her tip.
"I would like to give you a tip to have more money when you play Singles 2 in a "free mode" style.
Buy some curtains and put them at the windows, on a Sunday. Resell them after 8 days (next Monday).
You'll see then that you have many pairs of curtains on the same windows!!!
So, if you place some on many windows and resell them every 8 days, you can inflate your banking account with a lot of money.
Thanks Jojo

Beside your configuration, who is maybe not strong enough. One of the "good" reasons why your game is slowing down during your game play and during the change of time is, the add-ons you place in your Extensions sub-folder!
This is what Wraithchild and SteveXY have to say about that:
The only way I know of to check this, would be to systematically remove all extensions then add them one at a time and start the game to see which one(s) slow it down.
Also the number of objects you add is a reason. If you have many different objects in the game, it's going to slow down your game play. So it's better to use only 3 or 4 new different objects than 50! During time changes, your pc has much to do: each used objects needs a new radiosity... So it´s better to have some objects in double or triple then to have them all different.
