A Solution for Singles 2 under Vista

A Singles 2 player under Windows Vista found a way to make it work after having a few "back to desktop" problems.

"Since, Windows Vista comes with Direct X 10 by default. And Singles 2 is running with DirectX 9.0c. Therefore updating will not work as the file is not included in DirectX 10, thus the reason why I simply downloaded the d3dx9_24.dll file from the Net using Google and copy it to my Singles 2 root folder. And voilà... no more "back to desktop."

I did as suggested, and I also had to run the game "as adminitrator" to make itr work.Some of my save games seemed corrupted and provoked a failed re-start later. I moved all the files related to it to another folder, and the game re-started again...
